More than 25 Events Planned for Library's Spring Blast

Some old, some new events planned for the spring bash.

The fourth annual Spring Blast kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday and ends at 2:30 p.m. The free event is open to all members of the public, and according to event organizer and library employee Rosetta Metz, is intended to usher in spring for the community.

Some old favorites, such as face painting, henna and tattoos will be there, as well as new additions like flower planting with the Garden Club and "guess the cost" of a car with Lin-Mar Motors.

"We also have grand prize drawings for a $50 Giordano's gift card for adults, one iPod Nano for teens, one children's bike and one American Girl doll," Metz said.
