Morton Grove Librarian Talks E-Books for The New York Times

The New York Times interviewed Leah White of the Morton Grove Public Library for a story this week.

One of Morton Grove Public Library's own, Leah White, made it to the online pages of The New York Times this week. The readers advisory librarian offered her views for the Media Decoder blog posted on Sunday.

"A Limit on Lending E-Books," by Julie Bosman discusses the recent decision by HarperCollins to tighten rules on lending e-books at libraries. 

Bosman writes, “'All libraries are going to think twice about what e-books they’re going to purchase in the future,' Leah L. White, a librarian at the Morton Grove Public Library in suburban Chicago, said Friday."

The Media Decoder blog offers commentary and updates on changes in the media industry, especially in relation to technological advances.
