'Movies in the Park' Wednesday

Showing of "Toy Story 3" comes with a chance to buy hot dogs, picnic with neighbors.

Does swimming, a hot dog, an ice cream cone, free popcorn and a free outdoor screening of "Toy Story 3" sound like a perfect summer evening?

If so, bring your blankets and lawn chairs Wednesday to Centennial Park, at 100 S. Western, Park Ridge. The Park Ridge Park District will screen the movie at approximately 9 p.m., and sponsor Coldwell Banker will provide free popcorn. Centennial Pool is open before the movie from noon to 9 p.m.; admission is $6 per person.

Before the movie starts, Spuntino's will provide hot dogs, pizza, burgers, soda and water for purchase, and Capannari's, a family-owned ice cream shop in Mount Prospect, will provide ice cream for purchase.
