Online Voting Begins for Morton Grove “Seven Wonders”

"Seven Wonders" narrowed down to 19 finalists, vote online now for your favorite.

What do Morton Grove's Doughboy statue, its Forest Preserve, a coffee shop and a rock have in common? If you answered "finalists in the Seven Wonders of Morton Grove project," give yourself a pat on the back. 

Nineteen finalists have been named from the more than 50 nominations received over the past month in the Seven Wonders of Morton Grove contest. And today the voting site to choose the top Seven is finally available online.

The voting deadline is Monday, Oct. 17. The winning Seven Wonders will be announced at the Morton Grove Village Board meeting on Monday, Oct. 24.

The Seven Wonders project was launched during the summer by the Morton Grove Community Relations Committee as a way to build awareness about unique aspects of the village. Residents and fans of Morton Grove were asked to nominate businesses, buildings, parks or public places that they considered noteworthy.
