At least 200 people filled the Our Lady of Ransom parish hall Friday as congregants and friends celebrated Oktoberfest.
An unexpected highlight was that Rev. Chris Gustafson and Rev. Mark Augustine singing "Sweet Caroline" with the oompa band.
Raffle winners were also drawn for the parish's major fundraising raffle of the year. There were $1,000 winners, a $5,000 winner and a $25,000 winner.
