Patch Pet of the Week

Nemo is in need of a new master.

Nemo, this Yellow Labrador Retriever mix is a loyal friend and well-mannered too. He knows sit, down, paw, is crate-trained and gets along with other dogs, big and small. He is ready for a new home.

Nemo isn't at a shelter or foster home, he is living at the doggie day care that he went to since he was a pup. Recently his owner dropped him off for a fun day of playing with his pals. Tragically his owner never came back to pick him up, as Nemo's mster passed away suddenly that day. Nemo has been patiently waiting for him to come back. Now he needs a new lap to rest his head in and a new home to gaurd.

Nemo was living a with a bachelor and so a home with older children would be best for him. He was also used to a large yard, and is now learning how to walk nicely on a leash. He will benefit from an obedience class to learn about loose leash walking and to help him and his new family bond.   He loves everyone he meets and will adjust very quickly to a new home.

Do you think your home needs some extra kisses and tail wagging? Nemo is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. His adoption fee of $150 benefits rescued pets. To meet and possibly adopt Nemo, please contact Katie at kryan75@yahoo.com or 773-510-5137.
