Patch Pet of the Week: Janell the Cat

This lap cat is looking for a new home to snuggle up in.

Janell is a two-year-old female calico cat who made taking her picture very difficult. A lot of cats in a shelter situation are scared by the loud noises and unfamiliar setting, so I was surprised when Janell walked right into my lap.

In fact, she wouldn't sit even a few feet away so I could get a nice portrait of her, thus this close-up is the best I could get.

She is healthy and up-to-date on all her shots and spayed.

This cat is ready to go into a nice quiet home, away from all the noise of the shelter.

If you have such a home, with older children or adults, Janell would make a wonderful companion.
