Patch Pet of the Week: Louie

This big guy is just a big baby, and at 16 months he is just a pup. Do you have time, energy and the love he needs for a new home?

Louie  is a lovable lug looking for a loving home. At 65 pounds he is a good-size American Stafford Terrier mix, so he will need a home that is ready to take him on long walks and have fun doing obedience and maybe even agility classes!

Louie loves everyone he meets, whether human or canine. He has been well-loved, well-socialized, and beautifully cared for his whole life.

He was given up to rescue when his human helper was diagnosed with some serious health issues and could no longer care for Louie. He is crate-trained and housebroken; knows the commands "sit" and "down;" and takes treats gently from your fingers.

Louie is living in a foster home in Chicago. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact his foster mom Samantha at palsplace1@hotmail.com or 773-615-9864. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of Pal’s Place. He is neutered, dewormed, heartworm-tested, up-to-date on vaccines, and micro-chipped.

Sherit Petraits Pet Photography spends her spare time photographing animals in rescue waiting for homes. Her photographs have helped many animals find their forever homes. You can check out other pets available for adoption at http://www.petraits.petfinder.org.
