No need to sit through security lines at O'Hare International Airport when you can find fun - and sometimes free - spring break plans in town.

The Niles Library is having Spring Break Open Gaming on Tues. March 29 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. "Try out some of our most popular Xbox games, including Rock Band 3. Grades 5 and up are welcome to join in."

Plenty of people choose Chicago as their destination for vacation, so why not join the fun? Explore the trendy restaurants in Wicker Park (anyone ever heard of a speakeasy called The Violet Hour?) or grab tickets to a cheap film in Logan Square. Then of course there are the museums, theaters and concert halls in the Loop.
