Pet of the Week: Jasper

Each week, we spotlight an exceptional pet available for adoption from a local rescue.

Handsome Jasper is new to Chicago Canine Rescue, but it is easy to see what an amazing dog he is!  He has been an instant favorite at the shelter!  He is friendly and well-socialized without being too wild, and it is clear that he aims to please!

Border collies are very intelligent dogs, and Jasper is no exception.  It seems that he has had some training, and would easily learn new tricks and skills.  While they often require a lot of mental and physical stimulation to keep them happy, Jasper, at six years of age, is more mature and settled.  I think he would adjust well to any family willing to give him the love and attention that he deserves!

Jasper is an approximately six year old, neutered male Border collie.  He is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and ready to go.  He had a weak positive on his heartworm test, and his treatment for that will be covered by CCR.
