Pet of the Week: Poppy
Each week, we spotlight an exceptional pet available for adoption from a local rescue.
It is amazing that we got Poppy to sit still long enough to take these pictures! She certainly lives up to her name- she "pops" all over the place! She is one of the happiest dogs I have met, and she's excitedly waiting for a family to find her at Chicago Canine Rescue.
Poppy is a real sweetheart when she finally slows down. She has a real zest for life! She brings smiles to faces wherever she goes! She is a fairly young chihuahua mix- under a year old, so she needs a bit of training, but she's small so she's easy to handle. And so far she LOVES everyone she has met!
Poppy and lots of other playful pooches are waiting for you at Chicago Canine Rescue! She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, and ready to go.
