Senior Day Brings Activities for All Ages
The Morton Grove Farmers' Market features line dancing demonstrations, bingo, live music and more.
Last Saturday at the shoppers were welcomed with the tunes of Honky Tonk Parade and enjoyed buying bags full of corn, greens, fruits, honey, chocolate-dipped cookies, fresh baked bread and more.

So, how can we top that? How about with Senior Day at the market? Tomorrow from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. there will be a full day of activities for seniors and everyone else. Bring the grandkids to the market for face painting, crafts and treats.

Produce is growing fast with all the rain and sunny, warm weather in the region. Corn is big, along with berries, peaches, beans, tomatoes, squash, onions, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, plums, lettuce, potatoes, beets, peppers and more. The market also offers honey, bread, grass-fed beef, free range chickens, eggs, cheese, coffee, cookies and chocolate-dipped cake pops. Bring your garden shears and get them sharpened.
