Viewfinder: Dancing At SJB International Fest

A swirl of a Mexican skirt, a jangle of India medallions and a buffet of food put crowd in a festive mood.

The adventurous could try escargots in garlic butter sauce at the French booth or spicy beef and chicken at the India table. Those who tamer tastes could indulge in hot dogs and brownies at the U.S.A. booth.

But all the diners at St. John Brebeuf's International Celebration 2011 Friday could enjoy the expertly-presented dances from six troupes, as well as music from the SJB Children's Choir.

Patrons tried the food offerings from tables featuring the cuisine of Germany, the Philippines, Ireland, and Poland, as well as India, France and the U.S.
