Weather Could Disrupt Thanksgiving Travel

A predicted nor' easter in the New York area, and another storm coming to the West Coast, could cause flight delays or cancellations throughout the country.

Accuweather.com is warning that storms on the East and West Coasts could disrupt Thanksgiving week air travel, particularly because they might cause a ripple effect of delays around the country, including at O'Hare International Airport.

On the East Coast, a nor'easter may form over the western Atlantic by Sunday, Accuweather predicts, sending rain and wind into parts of the mid-Atlantic and Northeast through at least the middle of the week.

Meanwhile, a potent storm from the Pacific threatens to bring heavy rain, mountain snow and locally gusty wind to the Northwest and northern California early next week.
