It would seem to me that the time we need village services is in this kind of weather. If the village isn't there to provide services then why does this governmental agency exist?

The VILLAGE of Morton Grove closed?? Isn't today, the coldest day in decades, the one day of the year that residents might need the Village the most? What are people supposed to do if they need assistance? One concern is the police will be over run with calls that could easily be handled, and more appropriately handled, by the Village offices. It is incredibly irresponsible of the Mayor to "close the Village" offices today of all days.
