When Thunderstorms May Hit Morton Grove Today

Our local meteorologist gives specific details on the storm Tuesday.

A  severe t-storm watch has been issued from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. for Tuesday, and includes Cook County, according to the National Weather Service.

T-storms will be hit and miss across northeast Illinois with the possibility of gusty winds, heavy rain, hail and dangerous lightning, however, not every location will see storms.

Storms are just starting to develop as of 2:30 p.m. with some of the heaviest storms over the western suburbs. It is possible that the heaviest storms may track north and eventually south of the Morton Grove area. The best chance of t-storms for Morton Grove will be between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. but again these will be hit and miss.
