Winter Market Takes On Holiday Air

Morton Grove's Farmer's Market comes indoors for its winter edition. Restaurateurs offered lunch, vendors sold holiday gifts, foodstuffs and sweets.

Even though it's December, the Morton Grove Farmer's Market gave it one last go for the year. The market moved indoors to the Morton Grove Civic Center to stay out of the chill Saturday, even though temperatures hovered in the moderate range.

The market took on a holiday air, with many vendors selling Christmas and Hanukkah-themed decorations, and many offering gifts, such as body lotions, jewelry, natural cleaning products, sweets and candies, and mittens and hats.
