Winter's First Storm Hits
Kids make the best of it while commuters roll along slowly.
Thursday's snow started accumulating on the pavement just in time for the evening rush hour, but that didn't bother kids sledding at Kirk Lane Park in Niles.
The falling snow slowed traffic on major routes such as Oakton Street and Milwaukee Avenue. Snowplows from the could be seen on both main arteries and residential streets.
