Women in Morton Grove History to be Highlighted Sunday

Morton Grove Historical Society exhibit to open this weekend.

Be among the first to experience the stories, photographs and colorful exhibits on women who have played a role in shaping the Village of Morton Grove, from the founding families through modern day.

This weekend Morton Grove will celebrate and recognize women’s contributions to the village in a “Women in History” exhibit, as reported by the Morton Grove Champion.

The free exhibit will be hosted by the Morton Grove Historical Society and the Morton Grove Park District. It opens with a reception on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Morton Grove Historical Museum at 6150 Dempster St.
