Classic Car Shows Return This Thursday Evening

The second in a series of classic car shows returns this Thursday evening to Kappy's Restaurant in Morton Grove. Free registration for show car participants begins at 5:00 pm and the show opens to the public at 6:00 pm. Admission is free. The shows are co-sponsored by Kappy's Restaurant, Monday Night Car Shows and the Morton Grove Economic Development Commission.

New this month is an outdoor BBQ grill serving hot dogs, hamburgers and bratwurst (available for purchase) courtesy of Kappy's. A 50/50 raffle, contests and an auction of automotive products is included in the show.

Cars and trucks of all types will be on display. The featured vehicle belongs to the Niles West High School drag racing team. A portion of the proceeds from the auction are donated to the automobile mechanics training programs at Niles West and Niles North high schools courtesy of the Monday Night Car Shows organization.
