Legendary DJ Clark Weber to Appear at Summit
Mother Weber’s oldest son Clark, an icon of Chicago radio in the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, will take you back to a time when rock and roll was clean and the Chicago River was dirty Friday, May 18, at 1:30 p.m. at The Summit of Uptown, 10 N. Summit (at Touhy) in Park Ridge. There is no charge for the program.
Clark Weber will revisit the days when you were in your teens or early twenties and didn’t have a care in the world. He will talk about your music and tell you stories that you’ve never heard before including how a teenager at a Brother Rice High School sock hop left her mark in a very unusual place on a member of Paul Revere and Raiders, Larry Lujack’s plane ride over Chicago, and what happened when the Monkeys rode the “Last Train to Clarksville.”
