LitLounge: Born to Run

Join us for a book discussion of Christopher McDougall's Born to Run. One part sports writing, one part history, and one part cultural, this journalistic book is about so much more than running. While McDougall prepares to run an ultra marathon with the Tarahumara, an Indian tribe renowned for their running abilities, we learn about the culture of running and why so many Americans are doing it wrong.

Litlounge is a new book group co-sponsored by the Skokie Public Library and the Morton Grove Public Library that meets in the Irish pub, The Curragh at 8266 Lincoln Ave. in Skokie.
