Thinking Out Loud: Cutting For Stone at MGPL

Join us for a book discussion of Abraham Verghese's Cutting For Stone. In this sweeping family saga, an Indian nun and a British surgeon have a secret love affair, ending when the nun dies giving birth to their conjoined twin sons. Shiva and Marion, the now separated twins, grow up in Ethiopia at their father's hospital compound, in a country torn by political turmoil.

Refreshments will be provided. Discussion materials are available on the book display located near the south entrance. Learn more about this book discussion group.
