The Morton Grove Park District has organized a community relations project this spring. Art teacher Laura Frisch has been assisting the park district in creating a “Quality” mural to represent the diversity in our community. Over the last few weeks, Recreation and Facility Manager, Kelly Smith has contacted and secured many different groups and families in our community to participate in the preparation of this mural. The word Quality will be displayed in over 30 languages. The paint supplies was generously donated by JC Licht and Epco Paint Store.
The unveiling of the final mural will take place during the Park Board of Commissioners monthly meeting.
