Morton Grove Days Kicks Off At 5 PM, Goes Through Saturday

Morton Grove Days, the annual festival with a carnival, food court and beer garden, has arrived once again. The town's biggest annual shindig kicks off at 5 p.m. Wednesday and runs through 11 p.m. Saturday.

Be sure to see the parade down Dempster Street at 2:30 p.m. Thursday and the fireworks in Harrer Park, Dempster and Fernald, at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Be aware that Dempster Street will be closed off for the parade, and parking restrictions will be in effect for the fireworks shows. Allow plenty of time to park and be prepared to walk three blocks or more.
