Niles Celebrates The Oscars

Dozens gather at Niles Library to watch on the big screen, nosh and pick the winners.

About 60 movie lovers buzzed with excitement at the Niles Library's Oscar Night Party Sunday, discussing which actors and movies would walk away with the top Academy Awards.

Movie posters from "The King's Speech," "Inception," "The Social Network" and other films nominated for Best Picture lined the walls as the party guests registered for door prizes and tried to predict the winners.

Cecilia Cygnar, the library's film specialist and also Niles Patch's film critic, and other library staff welcomed the guests.
