Chicagoland's 20 Most Dangerous Intersections
No Niles or Morton Grove intersections were on the list, but some were not that far. Also, one Niles intersection saw a fatal crash last year.
The Chicago Sun-Times released a list Monday of the 20 most dangerous intersections in the Chicagoland area, based on the number of crashes in 2010 as reported by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Thankfully, no Niles or Morton Grove intersection made the list, but a couple of locations within a 10 minute drive were up there, including a Northfield crossroad and a North Side Chicago junction. Intersections in Bensenville and Palatine also made the list.
