Archiver's Scrapbooking Store Has Closed in Niles
The company has filed for Chapter 11 protection, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal. However, three locations remain open in Chicagoland.
Archiver's, a specialty store catering to scrapbooking enthusiasts, has closed its Niles location at Four Flaggs Shopping Center, at the southeast corner of Golf Road and Milwaukee Avenue.
According to its website, it has three remaining stores in the Chicago area: in Gurnee, Naperville and Downers Grove.
Archiver's parent company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.
The store carried scrapbooks, scrapbook paper, stick-on letters and designs and endless accessories for making scrapbooks. The website still carries those offerings.
