Auntie Anne’s Gives Out Free Pretzels Saturday

Saturday's complementary pretzels are part of a charitable partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

You can get free food and learn about a new charitable partnership.

Auntie Anne’s, which has locations at in Niles and Old Orchard Shopping Center in Skokie, is giving away free pretzels Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Along with the complimentary original of cinnamon sugar pretzel will come information on the pretzel maker’s new charitable partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, based in Wynnewood, PA. Auntie Anne's is based in Lancaster County, Pa.

The ALSF information will include a QR code linking to a new public service announcement featuring actress Bailee Madison, and a bounce back coupon for a free pretzel on a future visit to Auntie Anne’s. Throughout 2012, Auntie Anne’s will help change children’s lives by fighting childhood cancer through the partnership with ALSF. In addition, Auntie Anne’s will embark on an inaugural nationwide fundraising event for ALSF this summer.
