Businesses Flourish in Niles
These companies located in the village, which has a business-friendly reputation.
The village of Niles has a history of encouraging business, which makes it a retail engine among neighboring suburbs, as well as one of the top producers of sales tax revenue among Illinois municipalities. It also has a strong industrial base.
In retail, the village has two Target stores, two Home Depot stores, two WalMart stores, three Jewel-Osco grocery stores, at least five other grocery stores, retail stores down the length of Milwaukee Avenue, and Golf Mill Shopping Center, which contains a Kohl's, Sears and JCPenney, at the corner of Golf Road and Milwaukee Avenue.
