Cheeseburger in Paradise Being Demolished for New Des Plaines Restaurant

The old Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant is being demolished to make way for  a new restaurant in Metropolitan Square, the Journal and Topics reported.

Permits have been issued for the Tap House Grill and work on demolishing the old Cheeseburger in Paradise location has begun, the newspaper reported.

The owners of the Tap House Grill, Scott Ward and Mark Zych, already have seven locations. As part of the redevelopment, Des Plaines is putting up $80,000 to offset upfront costs associated with the project.
