TASTE OF MORTON GROVE 2012

The Morton Grove Foundation will host Taste 2012, on Thursday, March 8, at the White Eagle Banquets and Restaurant at 6845 Milwaukee Avenue, in Niles. The Taste is a popular annual event featuring samplings of the area’s finest cuisine, silent and live auctions and raffles. All proceeds are contributed to charitable organizations that directly benefit Morton Grove and the surrounding community. The Taste Committee is attempting this year to surpass its prior year’s profit - a tall order in these tough economic times. However, it is because times are tough that local charities need more help.
Though the list continues to grow, many wonderful restaurants and organizations have already signed up to serve their culinary delights. In addition to perennial favorites such as firehouse chili and jambalaya, this year’s Taste goers will enjoy some new and exciting restaurants and equally delightful dishes.

To date, the following restaurants have agreed to participate in the Taste:

Catered by Design
China Chef
Corner Bakery
Culvers
Dairy Queen
El Sol
Giordano's
Grazziano's
Kappy's
Maggiano's
Maier's Bakery
MG Fire Dept
Orchard Village
Sri Siam
Starbucks
Unimart
Wa Pa Ghettis
White Eagle

Event tickets are $30 pre-event or $40 at the door. Tickets are now on sale at Village Hall, Inland Bank, MB Bank and many locations throughout Morton Grove.
