Guess The Food: Berrymoon Frozen Yogurt

Three winners get to choose flavors and toppings for their free cup at Berrymoon, which just opened at Golf Mill Shopping Center. Enter next time for your chance to win.

This week's "Guess the Niles Food" contest was tricky. We showed you a photo and asked you to guess which restaurant made it, but this establishment had only been open a few days.

Still, six people, out of 10 guessers, named the correct establishment, Berrymoon Frozen Yogurt at Golf Mill Shopping Center, near the food court.

Manager Jacob Skwarek said Berrymoon has a store on Clark Street in Chicago's Lincoln Park and has expanded to the Niles location.

Earlier: Win this frozen dessert

"The idea is a self-serve frozen yogurt store," he said. Customers pick up an empty cup, then walk to the yogurt machines, pick their flavor(s), and fill their cup with the amount of frozen yogurt they desire. Then it's on to the toppings bar for fresh fruit and dry choices like nuts or chocolates. Everything costs 45 cents an ounce.

The fro-yo has half the calories of ice cream, Skwarek said.

Three lucky winners each win a cup of Berrymoon: Ruby Martinez, Katie Rang and Sue Wilsey. Ladies, please contact Jacob Skwarek at info@berry-moon.com by Saturday morning to redeem your prize.
