Guess The Food: The Steak Sandwich Is From...

We showed you the photo yesterday and asked you to guess which Niles restaurant makes it. Now we reveal the answer--and the lucky winner who gets to chow down on this beauty.

 

Yes, most of you guessed it right. It's the famous steak sandwich from

"It's a nine inch tenderized skirt steak sandwich, topped with a custom barbecue sauce--more tangy than smoky," said John Protofanousis, owner, who works alongside his dad Stavros. Sally Friedman, the original owner with her husband--who was nicknamed Booby--sold it to them 32 years ago, but still works at the iconic Niles restaurant. The Friedmans started Booby's in July 1961.

The sandwich comes with two sides, and diners can choose from french fries, a baked potato, rice, soup, salad or cole slaw.
