Kids, Deck Out Your Bikes To Win Prizes

Amling's Cycle sponsors a bike decorating contest.

Kids love a parade, and so does Amling's Cycle. The Niles bicycle shop is sponsoring a bike decorating contest for kids on Monday, July 4th. The kids can then ride their bikes in the Niles Fourth of July parade.

In order to participate, children should show up at Notre Dame College Prep, at Dempster and Ozark Streets, Niles, between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. with their bikes decorated in a Fourth of July theme. Amling's Cycle will have free giveaways for everyone as well as prizes for the top two decorated bikes; for kids six and under and for kids from seven to 12.

“We’ll be making noise, having fun and wishing everyone holiday spirit,” said Sarah Bennett of Amling's, who is running the contest.

“Come one, come all,” Bennett said.
