Local Kids Win Niles Chamber Scholarships
Some will use the money for high school; others for college.
Eight sets of parents in the Niles area were happy to learn their children won scholarships from the Niles Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Chamber will present its Dollars for Scholars scholarships Saturday evening at its annual Night of the Roses dinner and awards ceremony at , Niles.
The winners are:
$1,000 High School Scholarships
- Amanda Aragon, St. John Brebeuf School
- Sherlina Chauhan, Culver School
- Kevin Flaherty, School District 64
- George Tripkos, Culver School
$3,000 College Scholarships
