Opening Date Set for Park Ridge Mariano's

It will be the first of 11 former Dominick's stores to be converted to Mariano's stores.

Mariano's in Park Ridge will be opening in the coming weeks.

The specialty grocer will open at 6 a.m. on Feb. 18 at its new Park Ridge location at 1900 S. Cumberland Ave., according to the Mariano's Facebook page

The Park Ridge location is the first of 11 former Dominick's stores that will be converted into Mariano's grocery stores, according to the Chicago Tribune. In December, Roundy's Supermarkets—the parent company of Mariano's—purchased the former Dominick's stores for $36 million with plans of converting the locations into Mariano's stores, according to the article.

Roundy's, which currently has 13 Mariano's stores in the Chicago suburbs, plans to have 30 stores operating in the Chicago area by the end of 2014, according to the Lake Zurich Courier.

The Park Ridge store will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to Mariano's website.
