Top Cardiac Surgeon Comes To Area Hospital System
NorthShore University Health System has hospitals in Skokie, Glenview, Evanston and Highland Park.
Paul J. Pearson, a cardiac surgeon who has worked at Mayo Clinic and St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., is coming to NorthShore University Health System to head cardiac surgery, the hospital announced.
Pearson has pioneered surgical techniques to treat atrial fibrillation, an abnormal heart rhythm.
Evanston-based NorthShore University Health System has four hospitals, in Evanston, Skokie, Glenview and Highland Park.
