Morton Grove's Dominick's store is located in Prairie View Plaza, at the southeast corner of Dempster Street and Waukegan Road.

When Patch.com earlier asked readers what they would like to see fill the Dominick's space in Morton Grove, Mark said Trader Joe's, and readers on Facebook suggested Mariano's and Hobby Lobby.

Many grocery chains are building in, or have announced plans to build in, Morton Grove's neighbors: Fresh Farms is building a second location in Niles, filling a vacated Jewel-Osco space. Skokie is getting a Mariano's on Touhy near McCormick. Park Ridge is getting a Whole Foods on Touhy Avenue. Glenview is also getting a Mariano's, on Waukegan Road very close to Morton Grove.
