Where To Watch the Super Bowl In Niles, Park Ridge and Morton Grove Feb. 3
Local bars, restaurants and even one church are firing up the big screen and getting the food and drink ready for the football fan-aticism.
The Super Bowl is always more fun to watch when there's a crowd cheering--or jeering--the teams. The following local places will be open for the big game and, in most cases, offering specials.
Playbook Sports Bar on Milwaukee Avenue in Niles has huge TVs everywhere you look, and it's offering drink specials such as $6 to $12 pitchers, a $12 Miller lite bucket and $6 for a Bloody Mary bar with over 100 ingredients. There is also a $35 food and drink package; it must be reserved before Feb. 3. Playbook offers a full food menu.

St. John Brebeuf Church's Holy Name Men's Club is running a Super Sunday Football Party. The $20 admission charge ($5 for kids 14 and under) includes a variety of foods, dessert, coffee, beer, wine and soda, in addition to raffle prizes. The club is bringing in a 10-foot projection screen. It will take place at the SJB Parish Ministry Center on Harlem Avenue in Niles.
Tommy's Pub on Waukegan Road in Morton Grove will feature $10 buckets of Miller Lite and Bud Lite, plus free wings and pizza at halftime.

Brick House Tavern and Tap on Touhy in Niles is featuring a 1-2-3-4 Happy Hour, with $1 cans of beer, $2 classic drafts such as Bud Light, Miller Light and Coors Light, $3 well cocktails and select glasses of wine for $4. It has a full food menu, from sandwiches to entrees.
Houlihan's in Park Ridge on Touhy will be open on Super Bowl Sunday with its regular food and drink menu and five big screen TVs.
Chasers Bar and Grill on Milwaukee Avenue in Niles is hosting some Super Bowl specials: Buckets of Miller Lite five for $13; $3 Miller Lite pints and $5 Irish whiskey shots. It offers a menu of burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads, etc.
Chambers Seafood Grille and Chop House on Milwaukee Avenue in Niles has the following as $3 specials: domestic beer, Bloody Marys, well drinks, crab cakes, flatbread pizza, mini burgers, buffalo chicken wings, sausage-stuffed pepperoncini bites, kielbasa on a stick served with dipping sauce.
