Morton Grove Chamber welcomes Auto Match USA.

On Saturday, February 21, 2014 Mayor Dan DiMaria, Village Trustees and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors welcomed AutoMatch USA, 9040 Waukegan Rd. to Morton Grove, with a Red Ribbon Cutting Grand Opening. AutoMatch USA takes your car buying experience to a whole new level.

So what happened to Athans? All this for a name change only? Why doesn't the Mayor do something about the empty stores from businesses that have left town instead of trying to make it look like a new business has come into town.

I am grateful that this business was given a second chance, and will be interested to see how Mr. Athans' new partner and the new AutoMatch USA business model make a positive impact in Morton Grove. I found additional information about this business at http://www.cnbc.com/id/101432096. I have seen the show, "The Profit" and found it to be very interesting, so will try to watch the episode about Athans Motors' transformation into AutoMatch USA.

I'm just glad it didn't turn into another empty building. As for me, I buy a new car every 7-10 years so I will probably never have a chance to experience AutoMatch USA anytime soon. But I do buy groceries once a week and there isn't a food store close to where I live in MG, just wondering about the Village's priorities here.

Food store? We don't need no stinkin' food store! Maybe our economic development genius mayor can turn all of the empty stores on Dempster into a tourist attraction called "The Morton Grove Business Ghost Town!"

We're gonna need plenty of food stores because once the pot clinic opens, everyone will get the munchies! I can do my clothing and furniture shopping at the Red Shield store and then stop at the CEDA-WIC office to get my entitlements, and get something to fill my hooka at the head shop. I mean medical marijuana dispensary.
