We'd like to introduce C.A.R.E. star Lila. This adorable pale-gray tabby (Editor's Note: Tabbies rule!!) says, "I'm a delicate young lady who can be nervous in new situations, but once I feel comfortable I'm sweet and charming. My sheltered existence (so to speak) means I'm a little nervous of some toys when I first see them. Once I figure out they're for fun and games, I'll happily play. But mainly, I'd like a quiet home where I can cuddle on the sofa, curl up on the bed and be your favorite companion to watch late-night TV. Wouldn't you love to have adorable me to come home to?"

- Domestic Shorthair, 8-12 months old, Grey Tabby, Spayed female.
- ASPCA Feline-ality™ Assessment rating: Purple / Private Investigator
- Lila would due best in a home with children 12 and older. We're not sure how she feels about other cats or dogs.
- Lila is microchipped, spayed, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.

Please come to C.A.R.E., 2310 Oakton St., Evanston, to meet Lila and speak to an adoption counselor. Adoption hours are Monday through Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon-3:30 p.m.
