St. John Brebeuf Hosts Bears Tail Gate Party Oct. 10
The St. John Brebeuf Parish is celebrating its 60th Anniversary during 2013 with a series of fun and festive events and activities. This first of its kind outdoor tail gate party should prove entertaining for Bears fans and others.
The St. John Brebeuf Holy Name Men's Club is hosting a parking lot Tail Gate Party on Thursday, Oct. 10 starting at 5:30 p.m. for the Chicago Bears versus the New York Giants. With weather permitting, a giant 45-foot screen will show the game in the center lot at 8305 N. Harlem Ave., Niles.
Admission is $15 for those 21 and older or $10 for those under 20 years of age. Advance tickets sales are encouraged and available at the Parish Office during regular business hours. Admission includes hot dogs, brats, chili, beer, soda and games.
Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, tables, etc. There will be no grilling allowed. In case of inclement weather, the game will be shown in the Parish Ministry Center at the same location.
