I'm still P-O'd with the village of Morton Grove for allowing ParKing mini golf course to be torn down. Their park district could've taken it over for those of us who don't play real golf but still like to play our 18 holes on a nice spring or summer day.

ParKing was a private enterprise. Their layout was proprietary to them. Neither the village nor the park district had the power to prevent the owners from; A) going out of business; B) forcing the owners to allow their proprietary equipment and/or concept to be used by either the village or the park district, or, for that matter, anybody else. There is, however, a miniature golf course in Lincolnwood on Lincoln avenue at Devon if you are of a mind to putt-putt through a windmill.
