Niles Receives Road Improvement Project Money

The village of Niles will be getting some road improvement project money, thanks to the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP).

The state will give $747,840 in federal funds for the Milwaukee Avenue Corridor Improvements- Phase IV.

State officials have invested $50 million in community transportation projects throughout Illinois. The ITEP funds will support 54 projects like bike paths, walking trails, historic preservation, and streetscape beautification in various communities.
