Obama Announces the Death of Bin Laden
President Barack Obama gives a press conference at 10:30 p.m. CST on Sunday.
The leader of Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, is dead.
During an evening press conference, President Obama offered details on the Pakistani operation that led to the killing of bin Laden. He said that he had given consent for the operation, which led to a firefight and bin Laden's death.
“On nights like this one, we can say that justice has been done," Obama said.
