Photo of the Day: Downed Tree on New England Ave.
This tree was the only one reported to have fallen during Wednesday night's storm.
Reader Donald India snapped these amazing and alarming photos while driving home Thursday morning and submmitted the collage to Morton Grove's Facebook page. The tree went down in Wednesday night's storm, taking much of the sidewalk with it.
Morton Grove Public Works Director Andy De Monte said it was the only downed tree that was reported as of Thursday morning.
