Holiday Bus

Santa’s reindeer needed a Holiday break so the Village
of Niles will help Santa this season by providing its first ever beautifully
decorated Holiday Bus. The Holiday Bus will appear at the Holiday Tree Lighting
on November 26th, but start its first route on November 29 around 8
a.m. as it drops Santa Clause at the Golf Mills Shopping Mall.

The idea of the Holiday Bus was adapted from the very
successful and popular CTA “Holiday Train”. The Village of Niles partnered with
Pace Suburban Bus to come up with this fun rendition. The free bus system,
started in 1973, has served over 9,000,000 riders. The free bus system operates
weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and weekends 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 359
days a year.

Kids of all ages will enjoy riding in the specially
decorated Holiday Bus where they will each receive a surprise. As always, the Niles
Bus is free and will continue its regular routes. The Holiday Bus will rotate
between current routes until Christmas. Make a ride on the Holiday Bus a new
family tradition!
