How to Use the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace

The Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace has been created to help Illinois residents find affordable health insurance, as outlined in the Affordable Care Act. Patrick Corcoran, Regional Outreach Coordinator, will present a brief overview of the Marketplace and demonstrate how to use the website to compare insurance plans. Then, you will have the opportunity to meet with certified assisters who can help set up an online account. You will need: verification of income (pay stubs, income tax return) and a form of identification (driver's license, Social Security card, student visa).
