Konrad Hack, United States Military Artist
Konrad Hack will be sharing his life and his art at the Niles Museum this Saturday, from 2:00 to 4:00p. Admission is free. refreshments to be served.
Hack served as a combat artist in Vietnam for the Department of Military history, in 1969. Returning from the war, he was a staff artist for W.G.N. TV Chicago from 1970 to 1973. He became active in the Chicago Art Community as a founding member of the Chicago, United States Airt Force ARt Program in 1978.
Konrad Hack was born in 1945 and is a longtime resident of Niles. He is a member of the Niles VFW post 7712. He served as a combat artist in Vietnam for the Department of Military History in 1969.
